I’m having an ongoing workshop fabric sort out over the next few months and I’ve already listed a chunk of vintage fabrics on Etsy. Since I moved workshops to a smaller space it’s been an ongoing theme around scaling back. Initially on what I owned, then on the services I offer and items I make, which has led onto a further reduction in the things I own and what I need to have in the new studio. I am alos due my biannual fabric cull anyway, on my velvets particularly, as I’ll be getting new ones in shortly for my winter sewing!

In light of this I’ve been, and will continue to, sort out my fabricsa nd list them in sprees on Etsy. The current crop is vintage extra wide fabrics, a lot initially for Ralph Lauren or by the designers guild. some a pre cut pieces for bedding, otehrs are in long lengths. There are some particularly lovely super soft linens and a gorgous Italian silk I have on the roll.

I am also looking at changing my workbenches for something else so my lovely custom made sewing tables will be, at some point, up for sale too.
