Cheeky sew and sew are moving premises at the start of April to a workshop/studio space. We’ve loved our little shop but seeing as most of our sales are online nowadays, and we’re barely open to the public we think it’s time to move to a studio. This does mean a few changes:
I will no longer be open to the public, I know, I’ll miss you too. I will still sell my creations, but online or by commission. I will also still make garments, curtains and soft furnishings to order. you’ll just need to contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), this website or by phone (07922830927) after the start of April. I will still be based in Todmorden.
I shall be offering one to one tuition and courses still. One to one tuition at my workshop, or at your own home. Courses to be at Tod College, TLC as it is now to be known. I will no longer be doing clothing repairs or alterations once I leave the shop premises, yes even if you beg, cry or offer me huge amounts of money. Any repairs or alterations will need to be with me by the end of March.
I will be hosting a workshop sale of fabrics, sewing related goodies, seconds and haberdashery, not just from me but from a few other people too. Including a lifetimes collection or African prints and batiks, not my collection so I’ll be having a rummage!!
MY SHOP IS FOR RENT!!!! My lovely little space is up for rent, £500 a month, includes gas and water but not electric. It’s a great spot, there is talk of pedestrianising the street, which will be wonderful. I’ve been very happy here but I just do not need a shop premises.
