Cheeky Sew and Sew are running a Beginners Knitting course on 21st February, at 1.30pm, in partnership with Sam Parfitt from Stocking Stitch Studios. This course will cover:
How to choose the right yarn and needles for you and your project
How to improve your tension
Basic pattern reading
The course teaches you everything you need to know to begin your journey into the world of knitting, and is also suitable for lapsed knitters who need a refresher. Learn about different yarns and needles, understand how stitches are formed, and put the skills you learn into practice using your choice of exclusive Stocking Stitch Studio pattern.
Class sizes are small, with a maximum of 6 people, meaning you will receive plenty of one-to-one time within the course and any questions you have will be able to be answered.
The course runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and costs £17 not including materials or £20 with materials. This includes all materials, exclusive information pack and pattern, refreshments, and online support once you have completed the course. If you would prefer to bring your own yarn and needles to this course, please bring a non-splitty aran weight yarn with a high wool content (75%+) and 5mm wooden needles.
